19th August: On 5 August 2016, almost 12,000 of the world’s best athletes will congregate in Rio de Janeiro to compete in a dazzling spectacle. But olympic Games are not just about great triumphs and happiness, there is also tragedy. There has been scandal, political issues and death. Overall there have been roughly twenty-five deaths since 1912, eighteen of which were athletes.
